Governance and reporting
Confirmed trustee information, policies, reports and accounts should be accessible as the Foundation develops. We will separate plans from delivered activity and publish impact figures only when they can be supported.
Funding and independence
Charitable objectives come first. Commercial organisations cannot purchase favourable recommendations. Users remain free to choose whichever provider best meets their needs. Relevant funding relationships and conflicts should be disclosed.
How guidance is developed
Educational content should be understandable, evidence-informed and reviewed as technology changes. Any future comparison or recommendation should explain its criteria and limitations, including relevant commercial relationships.
Privacy and safeguarding
Collecting less personal information reduces unnecessary risk. Support should respect dignity, consent and appropriate boundaries. Our draft privacy and safeguarding pages explain the arrangements that need approval before launch.
Questions and complaints
We welcome questions about our plans, content and independence. The draft complaints process describes how concerns should be handled once operational arrangements are confirmed.
A little guidance can make a big difference.
Take the next step at your own pace. Our guides are a good place to start.
