Listen first
A person may want to send a photograph, fill in a form or understand a bill. We aim to start with that task and the barriers around it. Confidence, affordability and accessibility matter as much as the device itself.
Learn by doing
Clear steps, repetition and time to practise can make an unfamiliar task easier. Our resources encourage people to use their own devices where possible and keep control of their accounts.
Know the limits
Educational support cannot replace specialist legal, financial, medical or emergency services. When another organisation is better placed to help, we aim to signpost clearly. We never need someone’s passwords or banking security credentials.
Improve through feedback
We aim to listen to beneficiaries and community partners, review resources regularly and publish meaningful evidence when programmes are operating. We will not present plans as achievements.
A little guidance can make a big difference.
