Start with the display
Look in Settings for Display or Accessibility. Try a larger text size and check how it works in the apps you use. Display zoom and contrast settings may also help.
Make controls comfortable
Your phone may offer spoken content, voice control, hearing support or touch adjustments. Change one setting at a time so you can tell whether it helps.
Simplify everyday tasks
Put the apps you use most on the first screen. Remove clutter carefully: removing a shortcut and deleting an app may be different actions. Save useful contacts with clear names.
Practise and adjust
Try a call, a message and a favourite app after changing settings. Note how to return to the previous setting. Ask someone to explain choices while you keep control of the device.
